The University of Wollongong (UOW) partnered with Social Garden to enhance its international recruitment efforts through a captivating, multi-platform dynamic video campaign.

With the changing landscape of international education—marked by regulatory shifts, visa restrictions, and rising global competition—UOW needed an innovative approach to engage prospective students across targeted regions, including India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

  1. Two Masters in Two Years: This campaign involved three Meta videos promoting UOW’s dual-campus program, highlighting the efficiency of earning two degrees in two years aimed at students in India and Bangladesh.
  2. Opportunity is Now Campaign: A YouTube skippable ad focused on UOW’s scholarships and tuition discounts, using energetic visuals to appeal to students seeking global education.
  3. China: In-language videos for WeChat and Little Red Book, emphasizing UOW’s community and alumni success stories to resonate with local audiences.

Overall, this campaign balanced the informational with the inspirational. From showcasing UOW’s world-class education and extended Post-Study Work Rights as a regional university to emphasising the lifestyle and safety of Wollongong for international students, Social Garden delivered a cohesive suite of videos that effectively communicated UOW’s appeal.
