Creating Instagram Reels and TikToks with millions of views, without the use of infuencers

Modibodi is on a mission to build a brand that makes the world better by empowering everyone to make a real, positive change.

We worked with them on a brand awareness campaign to encourage as many people to try the product out and increase the conversation about period pants.

We set out to find four creators, all with different quirks and hobbies to give Modibodi a go and deliver some authentic content throughout their journey. We’ll let the content and results do the rest of the talking.

The job to be done

Challenger brand Modibodi have been on a mission to create more sustainable sanitary products for women. In 2021, we partnered together to produce organic social content using everyday people as creators, instead of influencers.

1. Authentic storytelling

The overall objective was to hero the voices of every day people through scripted content and encourage our creators to address the stigma around discussing periods, leaking and sweating. We helped Modibodi respond to some of the key fears customers have before purchasing through our videos.

2. Increased organic reach

With a relatively new TikTok account one of the goals was to increase the impressions and views on this channel, as well as comparing how everyday people perform against paid influencers. Modibodi also wanted the Instagram assets to reach as many users via Reels as possible.

3. Cost effective approach to content creation

The cost to pay one influencer can be the same as what it costs us to produce 3-4 videos. It can also be incredibly time consuming to manage talent, and you can be limited by the creative approaches each influencer takes.
